1. What we collect
Kalvie collects information you voluntarily provide, including: answers to our symptom checks (stored locally in your browser, not on our servers), email addresses if you subscribe to resources, and messages submitted through IBCLC booking forms. We do not collect health data for sale or advertising.
2. How we use information
Symptom check answers are used only to display your results in your browser. Email addresses are used only to send you the resources you requested and occasional Kalvie updates — you can unsubscribe at any time. Booking form messages are forwarded to the IBCLC you contacted.
3. Data storage
Symptom check data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data. Email addresses are stored securely with our email service provider.
4. Third-party services
We use Cloudflare for hosting and DNS, and may use analytics tools to understand site usage. These services may collect anonymous usage data. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
5. Cookies
Kalvie uses minimal cookies for essential site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at steve@kalvie.app.
7. Children's privacy
Kalvie is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page.
